Advanced Internal Data Protection: With ReadyNAS you can select from the latest technologies :
• RAID redundancy: Multi-drives means added protection.
• Data journaling: Even after an accidental power-off, power-up is just a few seconds longer than the normal time.
• Hot spares: if a disk were to die, data from that disk is rebuilt automatically onto the hot spare.
• Life support mode: if a second drive is accidentally removed, just shutdown, re-add the drive and power it back up; your RAID volume will resume where it left off.
• Scheduled replication: push data from the NAS onto another NAS or remote site.
• Shutdown on disk failure automatically shutdown if a disk failure is detected or if the system detects an over-temperature condition.
• Email alerts: automatic messages letting you know about all major events such as impending quota violations, share changes and hardware problems.
Digital Media Streaming: stream multiple high-definition videos, music or high-resolution photos to more than one compatible device at the same time.
Backup External Data: ReadyNAS offers a variety of options to backup data on other network devices, insuring that more than just your centralized files are protected.
