If you have Wi-Fi range issues, this is the solution for your Mac Mini. The Transceiver is also great for very long wireless distance point-to-point systems, college dorms, distant access points like houseboats trying to connect to wireless access points, etc. Typical installations include classrooms, long office layouts or fixing range problems with your iTunes and AirPort Express. A five foot cable allows you to locate the Transceiver up and away from clutter that reduces wireless range.
The 27dBm Mac Mini Transceiver operates on all 2.4GHz, Wi-Fi systems. The Transceiver is Wi-Fi compliant, supporting both 802.11g and 802.11b and works with both Mac OS 9.x and OS 10.x systems. This product is designed especially for Apple's AirPort Extreme wireless systems. Apple wireless products have an RF output of less than 50mW; while our 27dBm Transceiver pumps out 500mW.
