Share one ADC/ LCD monitor, one keyboard, and one mouse between two computers, Mac or PC. Works with ADC graphics cards of any type and also, via optional adapters with DVI graphics cards. Dr. Bott has taken the simplicity and ease of use of the original MoniSwitch and updated it for Apple's line of flat panel displays. MoniSwitch ADC is economical, easy to install, and great looking.
Configurations: Can be coupled with DVI to ADC Adapters (like DVIator) to include systems with compatible DVI graphics cards. (PC or Mac)
Connections: MoniSwitch ADC features the Apple Display Connector.
This single connector provides power, USB and digital video all through a single connector. The MoniSwitch does not limit the possible resolutions of a connected monitor in any way.
Cabling: For your convenience, the MoniSwitch ADC comes with two superior-quality ADC monitor cables to make your set-up easy. We have taken special care to choose the highest quality video cable available. Do NOT try to unplug and replug ADC devices while your Mac is switched on. You may seriously damage your Mac up to the point that it requires a motherboard replacement.
Using MoniSwitch ADC, however, such "live" switching will not damage your computer in any way and is in fact standard procedure that thousands of MoniSwitch users have come to rely upon since the original MoniSwitch first shipped in late 1995.
Space Saving: MoniSwitch ADC allows you to share one monitor, keyboard and mouse between two computers so you can reduce desk clutter and eliminate the "wrong mouse" issue.

MoniSwitch reduces the risk of confusion and error that increases when using multiple keyboards, mice and monitors. Obviously, MoniSwitch will save space and will allow redeployment of existing equipment or will save the cost of new equipment in such environments.
Compatibility: MoniSwitch ADC is compatible with the 15", 17", and 22" Apple Flat Panel displays . Compatible computers include newer Macintosh computers with ADC ports such as the Power Macintosh G4 with AGP Graphics and Intel based PCs when used with a compatible video card and a DVI to ADC adapter such as the DVIator.
