The Danger Mouse starts by using our widely popular MacMice shape... the one everyone raves about being so comfortable to use. We added a high-gloss red shell, an extended length USB cable to work with any desktop computer (Mac or Windows), and, our proprietary glide pads on the bottom to provide a silky mouse motion, with or without a mousepad. From there, we adopted the highest quality 1,600dpi laser pickup mechanism in the industry. And, we topped it off by using our new high-precision MicroScroll™ scroll wheel encoder. The Danger Mouse Red is a USB 2-button 1,600 laser mouse with 10mm miniature clickable scroll wheel. It is plug-and-play compatible with both Mac OS X and Windows XP.
This mouse is intended to be used with the OS-level drivers included with Mac OS X or Windows XP. There is no additional driver software provided by MacMice.
